Winning a place in the finals for CISCO’s top European startups in the IOT market, NQM (NquiringMinds ) has now launched a secure data management platform for Smart Citites. NQM’s Open City Data Platform has been selcted by the UK govement as the preferred data integration platform for the Future City Solutions Programme.
Working with Hampshire County Council, Liverpool City Council and Cambridge County Coucil the project, starting in April 2015, will take open data and turn it into useful apps and services for citizens and help to inform strategic decision making by the local authorities. The platform has been built on top of the EU sponsored webinos open source project and contains state of the art secure technologies developed in collaboration with Oxford University.
