The digitisation of our economy and society is accelerating and with the Internet of Things, we see a new era of connectivity where billions of devices exchange data and instil intelligence in our everyday life.  Along side smart devices comes the need to process and make sense of ‘Big Data’. Any industry, and City will need to adjust to this new reality. To meet this demand, NQM is developing a secure Open City Data Platform to maximise the interoperability between data, people and devices.
At his visit to the NQM stand at MWC15, Ed Vaizey had the opportunity to play with the platform and see the integrated data and analytics can lead to more efficient operations and improved decision making for local government
NQM has been recognised by Cisco as a  Top 15 Internet of Things start up companies in Europe and is showcasing its secure web technology and Open City Data Platform solution at the world wide mobile event.
