Abnormal Security’s report shows that the likelihood of falling victim to a Vendor Email Compromise (VEC) attack has increased from 45% in June 2022 to 70% in May 2023, with critical infrastructure organizations being targeted and the Silent Starling gang identified as one group employing these tactics.
