NIST Defers Updates to Pre-2018 CVEs Amid Resource Constraints

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) announced it will cease updates to Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) published before January 1, 2018, designating them as “Deferred” to optimize resource allocation for newer vulnerabilities.
