NquiringMinds showcases secure AI for contested environments at Mansion House

The event was presented by the Lady Mayor of London in collaboration with the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists (WCIT), the City livery company for the tech sector. It brought together defence technology companies, government, the Armed Forces, major defence primes and investors to showcase technologies capable of strengthening UK and allied defence capability.

What NquiringMinds presented

NquiringMinds presented its approach to building secure AI infrastructure for contested environments — technology designed to bring together information from multiple sensors, systems and human sources, assess its relevance and trustworthiness, and turn it into actionable information for operators.

Modern defence systems increasingly operate in environments where information is abundant but fragmented. Radar, satellite feeds, autonomous platforms, communications systems, intelligence sources and human operators may all contribute to the operational picture. The challenge is not simply collecting more data. It is being able to integrate, understand and act on that information quickly and securely, even when the underlying picture is changing.

NquiringMinds technology provides a common intelligence layer across these environments, combining secure data infrastructure, multi-source fusion and AI-enabled analytics to support applications including:

• multi-domain sensing and ISR
• operational and tactical decision support
• targeting and combat-system integration
• distributed and autonomous systems

The technology is already being applied in the maritime domain, where NquiringMinds is working with BAE Systems on advanced analytics for combat systems, helping process information from sources including radar, satellite data and AIS to augment human decision-making.
