Relationship
NQM developed CraneScan with TWI (acoustic emission / long-range ultrasonics expertise), RamCTRL with TWI on additive-manufacturing consultancy, and Ultramat with TWI on power-ultrasound materials processing. Through the Joining 4.0 Innovation Centre (J4IC), a strategic alliance between Lancaster University and TWI, TWI originated and led the iAM-3DPO AI-enabled additive-manufacturing programme that NQM developed technology for.
Case studies
- Offshore crane failure prevention for industry using AI structural health monitoring
- Remote additive manufacturing control for industrial 3D printing using a secure central control platform
- Advanced materials processing optimisation for manufacturing using data analytics
- Zero-defect metal additive manufacturing for aerospace and industrial supply chains using AI closed-loop process optimisation
