GCHQ
GCHQ (Government Communications Headquarters) is the UK’s signals intelligence and cyber security agency, headquartered in Cheltenham. Working alongside MI5, MI6 and the armed forces, it gathers and analyses communications intelligence to counter terrorism, cyber attacks and serious crime, and is the parent organisation of the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC).
