The European Space Agency (ESA) is Europe’s intergovernmental space agency, delivering space programmes and space-enabled applications across member states (esa.int). Through its ESA Space Solutions / Business Applications programmes, ESA supports commercial projects that apply space-based services (such as satellite communications, navigation and Earth observation) to terrestrial challenges, including safety and security and maritime/port domains.

ESA is an active partner of NquiringMinds. NQM’s current engagement is Neptune, an ESA space-applications project aligned with the ESA “Enhancing Port Safety and Efficiency through Space” call. NQM is pursuing a wider pipeline of ESA space-applications opportunities.
